Where are you located? Can I drop in for a consultation today?
The Rosehip Flora Studio is located in exciting East Austin, TX. We are a quick walk from Ladybird Lake and a leisurely bike ride from downtown. The studio is a perfect workspace but not always a perfect meeting space. We schedule consultations at quiet and convenient locales in the area by appointment only.
We are rarely available the day of a request but can probably schedule a consultation with you during that same week or the following one. We are busy girls who need to create a special time to sit down and discuss your details in detail. Trust me, it’s worth it.
When do you schedule consultations?
Consultations can be scheduled based on all interested parties’ schedules. Generally speaking we meet Monday – Thursday anytime between 9am and 7pm. Friday-Sunday we are usually consumed with actual floral event work. On occasion we can meet Saturday or Sunday – especially if you are an out of town bride or have family visiting and want to include them in the consultation. Other days/times are possible, but less likely. It never hurts to ask.
Do you provide design services beyond providing flowers?
Yes we do. If you are stuck or indecisive about the direction your wedding should take with respect to the overall style and color palette then we offer our two cents. Which will cost you two cents (or more). We have over ten years of experience working with brides to achieve a day of memories that will endure. We can also suggest professionals we trust and admire to help with your individual details (coordination, rentals, photography, invitations, catering, cake, music).
Do you have a minimum? What are your general prices?
Yes, we do exercise a minimum of $2000 exclusive of delivery and tax during peak season. We do not offer ‘packages’ but instead price items out individually based on your needs and desires. Our general pricing on specific items can be requested via email. Keep in mind these prices can change depending on types of flowers required and size/type of display requested.
Do you provide rental pieces?
All vases and containers used in your wedding can either be purchased or rented. Larger pieces such as huppahs and arbors are also available for rent. Just let us know what you are looking for and we will offer you options. Candlesticks, lanterns, votives, and other table accents are typically part of the rental cost.
How many weddings/events do you complete in a weekend?
No more than two each weekend. We like to obsess over your details and get everything just right especially for you. This isn’t always possible (or fun) when we take on more than the two events. Taking on fewer clients means more time with you and an intimate level of service for your big day.
Who’s the brains and who’s the brawn?
No one can be everything all the time. Sarah and I have been working together for six years and we play off of each other incredibly well. I like to think we’d both answer that questions with , ‘she is’.
