The journey that led to Rosehip Flora, began with an unassuming part-time job just outside Washington D.C. I worked at a family-run flower shop during grad school, a job that wasn't supposed to change my life. The job became a hobby, that hobby quickly became a passion, and I suddenly found myself with a blooming ambition to start my own flower business. I returned home to Texas poised to become a professional florist, and I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to do so with Rosehip Flora for more than 15 years.

Over that time, I’ve developed an experienced eye for floral design and an ability to execute an idea’s inception to the final product with each client that walks through the door. I don't work to simply offer clients a handful of options to choose from, but to create a process that pulls from face-to-face interactions to deliver on a unique aesthetic for their wedding. I’ve designed hundreds of weddings, each one reflective of the conversations and experiences I've shared with my clients.

Personally, I have a wandering eye when it comes to flora and foliage and constantly scan the landscape for the unusual. I collect fun bits wherever I go and find hidden gems and inspiration on roadsides, abandoned lots, and down forgotten alleyways. I like to take risks with my work, and am always looking to create something exceptional that will elevate the spaces my designs live within.

And at the end of the day, I love all bodies of water, dancing, karaoke, and my sweet little family.

What We Do

As the owner and lead designer, Erin likes to have direct oversight over the host of services we provide for our clients, an approach that keeps the scope of operations at Rosehip Flora tight knit and focused. From the first consultation through the wedding day, you’ll be working with Erin directly to make sure the entire process runs on schedule and is fully realized. The team never takes on more than two weddings in a given week, which allows space for relationships with clients to grow throughout the course of our time working together.

Non-wedding events and parties are just as fun so feel free to reach out to get the ball rolling. We can set a time to sit down and go over your ideas thoroughly.

Deliveries

Give us a call when you want to celebrate or surprise someone special. We deliver to most zip codes in the Austin area and require two days lead time when placing the order. We’d love to share the beauty!
